Most of the time when I try to do a SPS changing the software on a used ECM it ends up bricked. The same part number is used both for B207L engines and B207R but the software package is different inside and can create knock sensor codes and STFT/LTFT issues. If used ECM, then it goes back to if you got one from an exact same car and not just relied on the part number on the back. When buying from Orio, they set up the proper software (SPS) before shipping based on VIN and the only thing you need to do is to Add the ECM to car. So is it a brand new ECM?
